Hey, I am Emma, born and raised in Hungary, but definitely Dutch by heart. I live in Leiden with my partner and our doggie, Yoda. I have been always a crafty child, did all the creative hobbies that you can imagine, crochet, macrame, beading, painting, drawing, even weaving.
I always gave everything handmade for the family and friends for birthdays and Christmas. Drawing was my favourite of all, it somehow has been always my escape from reality. I absolutely loved art as well since I was little, especially surrealism, cubism and abstract art. My journey didn’t exactly start as a tattoo artist, I graduated in a business school and worked in finance for a decade, but honestly, always felt that something is off. It all took a serious turn when I started to decorate my own body with tattoos from all different artists about 10 years ago. My friends said, maybe my drawings could be tattoos as well. One day I walked into a tattoo shop as a client and left with a potential apprenticeship just by talking about my dreams with the artist. That day changed it all and I left my office job last year, in 2022. Forever grateful for this opportunity!
I enjoy doing ornamental, dotwork and fine line tattoos, floral pieces and love to create cute and illustrative (a little bit like children illustration style) tattoos as well. Whether it’s to make you feel better in your own body, or capturing a sweet memory, creating art on the human body is my favourite thing to do.
